What else do I do?

Besides my regular work, I love doing side projects like filming and editing videos, sketching illustrations, and messing around with electronic music. Am I good at any of that stuff? Not really, but I’m just having fun with it!

When it comes to filming and editing, I love capturing urban landscapes and liminal spaces. I’m trying to show that feeling of loneliness you get when you’re surrounded by millions of people but still feel totally alone. It’s that weird isolation in the middle of a crowded city.

My illustrations are done by hand with pencils and markers, and it’s my way of taking a break from staring at screens all day. I just draw without really thinking about it too much. I start moving my hand and see what comes out. I’m really into colorful stuff with a sad or melancholy feeling to it, kind of as a contrast. I also love drawing absurd scenes that look like they’re straight out of a crazy dream or an acid trip or something.

It’s been a little while, but I used to mess around with DJing and electronic music, mostly techno and house. I’ve got some DJ sets lying around from back then. I’m planning to get back into it soon, though, because I’m really inspired by electronic music, club culture, and queer culture in general.
